Live Seahorses
Nothing can make an aquarium more original than adding a Seahorse or two. At times our store will feature the Yellow Reidi Seahorse, Dwarf Seahorses, and even a few pregnant seahorses (saltwater or freshwater). There are a few things you need to do or make sure of before you make your first seahorse purchase.
The first is that your aquariums needs to be setup for hiding. Seahorses are not very good at swimming, so they like to hide from other fish in the grass or coral they can find in the aquarium. Seahorses are also very "dainty", so they need a calm and established aquarium to thrive. Changing the water on a massive scale will harm your fish. Finally, seahorses enjoy live foods such as ghost shrimp, so you as the aquarium owner needs to be prepared to feed your seahorse a new type of food if you are just used to flake foods.Seahorses are a great fish to have and if taken care of properly can be enjoyed for a long time!
