Fish Mox is used to terminate or alleviate bacterial diseases in fish such as gill disease or chondrococcus. To use fish mox, just add one capsule to the aquarium for every 10 gallons of water. Partially change the water after 24 hours, then repeat the process. The whole Fish Mox process should be cycled for 5 days with the maximum of 10 days, especially if no change is noticed after 5 days of using Fish Mox. Fish Mox will turn your water a yellowish color, but can easily be removed after treatment is complete by a partial water change of 20% and installing a new charcoal filter.
