Waterproof Ph Meters for Sale | Discount Ph Meters for the Aquarium | Tropical Fish Tanks

After the aquarium is setup and ready to accept fish, probably the most important factor in keeping your new aquarium and fish healthy and happy is to monitor the pH in the tank.

Freshwater aquarium fish require a pH between 6.0 and 9.0, but the best possible range is only 7-8.0. It's not very easy to monitor pH at the range of 6-9, much less only between 7 and 8.0, so you must have a pH meter for your tank.

So why do you need to keep the pH regulated? Well, any change in pH, no matter how insignificant can shock your fish. Too much movement in one direction or the other can shock your aquarium so much that your fish can get very sick and die. If you have goldfish, the loss, dollar-wise, might not be so great, but loss of life isn't inconsequential. However, if you have invested a considerable sum in your aquarium and your fish, then a change in water pH needs to be known immediately. pH meters come in several price ranges, so pick the one that's right for your aquarium!
